Genesis describes something that’s the first of its kind, and for NFTs being first often implies an increased value. This is also true for Genesis Corporation NFTs in Planet IX.

Genesis drops are mintable in-game or airdropped to the Pinball holders. By holding one, players continuously receive assets and items from the Planet IX ecosystem. For example, Lucky Cat genesis holders have received the following since June 2022:

• Golden tickets (for raffles)
• Premium tickets (for raffles)
• Regular tickets (for raffles)
• Landmark NFT
• MetaDragonz NFT
• Lucky Cat MetaShares

Genesis NFTs are not governance tokens, but owning one will always result in free airdrops of MetaShares and other assets from the related corporation. There are fewer Genesis NFTs than MetaShares, making Genesis NFTs more unique and rewarding. The total number of shares in each corporation is the following:

Genesis NFTs exist on the Ethereum chain. They carry the value as any other NFT, that can be traded and sold, but also as a core utility asset that will generate further NFTs, and in-game assets for the holder.
