Set up a Web3 wallet

To be able to buy and hold crypto tokens, you need a Web3 wallet. Follow the guide below to create yours: 

Step 1: Download a Wallet App


First, you’ll need a crypto wallet to interact with the decentralized world. One of the most popular choices is MetaMask, which is available as both a browser extension and a mobile app.
To get started:

• Visit the MetaMask website or app store to download it for your preferred platform.
• Once installed, the MetaMask icon will appear in your browser or on your phone screen.

Step 2: Create a New Wallet


• When you open MetaMask for the first time, you’ll be prompted to create a new wallet.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this process.

Important: During wallet creation, you will receive a seed phrase—a string of 12-24 random words. This is your wallet’s backup. Make sure to store this somewhere safe, like a password manager or a physical copy in a secure location. If you lose this phrase, you won’t be able to recover your wallet.
Confirm that you've securely saved your seed phrase before proceeding!

Step 3: Add Polygon (POL) Network to MetaMask


MetaMask supports multiple blockchain networks, but you'll need to manually add the Polygon (POL) network to interact with it. 

Here’s how to do that:


• Open MetaMask and click on the wallet icon in the top right corner.
• From the dropdown menu, navigate to Settings, then click Networks.
• Click Add Network and choose Polygon in the list.
